(258,847 posts)I like her, too, can tell she is "one of us." Her lisp was quite pronounced when she was little, in "E.T.," and you can still hear traces of it...

(6,996 posts)I'm very proud of how nicely she has grown into a down to earth,responsible young woman. Her abusive childhood did not bode well for her (being dragged around to bars and night clubs by her mother).
I never noticed anything distracting about her speech but since you mentioned it I see that there may be some leftover trace of a childhood lisp.

(45,558 posts)She was talking with Robert Osborn on TCM. She is a very knowledgeable guest host and made some great points.
I really like the fact that Osborn has reached down to the younger generation of Hollywood to talk about the art. It keeps the old movies alive.
