Our cat Buddy, brought a young squirrel into the house and after much ado, Buddy and I ended up locked in the garage and the young squirrel was alone in the house. As I was picking the lock the squirrel came over and sniffed at us under the door. Then we heard him go back out the cat door.

About a week ago, I found squirrel scat behind the oven. Sometimes, around four am, I hear the cat door click but Buddy is sleeping on my legs. It is a little click, and I kept thinking it was just the wind, but finding the poop makes me think that we actually have a little visitor.

they are suppose to hibernate and come out in Feb-March here in Texas. These young kids...it is impossible to get them to go to bed and get the f@#K to sleep.

I'd be tempted to toss the eagle a nice fresh fish every day...and feed the fox dogfood.
And keep the cats in the house!
But then my wildlife sentiments are more Christopher Robin than Animal Planet.
