Who am I?
I am nearly a thousand years old and back in the day I was a simple fishing village. Today, I am the most visited city in Scandinavia, drawing more than a million visitors each year. I am listed as one of the most expensive capitals in the world, but also one of the most environmentally friendly cities. I am rated among the world’s top ten cities for cyclists. Every day my inhabitants cycle around 1.2 million kilometers along 340 kilometers of cycle lanes. My architecture amazes everyone: nowhere on earth will you find such a diverse architectural setting. Every time you turn around a corner, there is a change of scenery and I feature the most interesting blend of ancient and modern architecture. All in all, in 2011 I was in the top 10 of the most livable cities in the world.
