sure I got food in the house. Hold me! Good luck to all in its path. 11 inches of snow to follow. I'm so glad I don't drive.

Snuggle in with a good book and some hot cocoa!

(4,033 posts)it's still raining, been doing that all day. Winds are up to about 25-35 mph. They're calling for 4-6". So not too bad. We have plenty of water & food (Christmas food is here, expecting 17 t0 20 people over). We should be okay.

(27,637 posts)Recently bought it used for $100 and spent $75 to get it in top shape. I don't have it set up yet to plug into the house wiring but I could run extension cords to do what I need.

(27,637 posts)Blizzard warning in effect here and very windy. But it's 40 degrees, 10 degrees warmer than anticipated. Radar shows frozen rain and snow moving in soon.

(2,682 posts)which it is doing right now. We had a sprinkling of snow yesterday but it was melted by mid-afternoon. I just can't imagine ice storms and snow measured in double digit inches. Consider yourself hugged, Applegrove! And good luck to all of you in the storm's path.
