(12,132 posts)but I love Amy Pond.
Of course, in the interest of full disclosure, I could fall in love with a pretty red-head as she was tasering me in the nuts.

(27,677 posts)He is one of only a few actors to appear in both the TV series and one of the 1960s movies, and the only one to have portrayed a companion in both. He was also considered for the role of the Fourth Doctor.

(48,217 posts)I liked her sarcastic and irreverent attitude toward the Doctor.
I also like Rose, simply because I could not imagine an American TV series in which the heroine lives in public housing, has left school at 16 (clear from the context if you know about the British school system), and has an African-British boyfriend.

(1,999 posts)She's beautiful, but like a real person. I hate to use the expression "the girl next door," but she really could be.
It's really hard to choose a favorite companion or a favorite Doctor Who. It's like choosing a favorite amongst my children! I love 'em all. Even Amy, although she is definitely my least favorite.

you know how it is. Your first Doctor and friends are your faves, right?
(Although I do remember seeing Tom Baker as a kid, and have a vague recollection of K-9, but I just love the new series.)
Forgot to add, I actually saw "Torchwood" first, and I am so sad there are no more of those. (I should say Jack is another fave companion.)
