DUer men of a certain age. Laraine Newman, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner, completely HOT!

If you were like me, you went through puberty watching the original SNL cast.

These women were completely HOT!

They were brilliant, beautiful, and there was so much more than their outward beauty. They demonstrated far much more than that. Their talent was incredible, their intelligence was superb. They shaped my formative years in ways the super star actresses of their time never could have.

I waited all week to watch SNL starting in '75. These women were what I looked forward to every week.

They could stimulate FAR MORE than my mere adolescent libido. They always stimulated my mind, and there is NOTHING more HOT than that.

I've recently heard that a center for ovarian cancer that was named after her got a name change because.... her name does not mean much for many these days.

Her Roseanne Rosanadana and Emily Litella will always be classic.

she was just a toddler BUT she admired these women and is in fact collecting what see refers to as the "Golden Age of SNL" 75-80 or something like that.

with Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Belushi and Garret Morris

Bergen probably was a guest. I don't know that she was ever a regular.

I remember seeing some of the original shows - skits like New Shimmer, Quarry Cereal. They were the best.

TV Guide had Gilda, Jane and Lorraine on the cover together in a 3-shot and apparently to capitalize on Chevy Chase's breakout success titled it "Chevy's Girls." The next show they did a skit where they opened up on a shot of the TV Guide cover and dissolved to a live shot of the three singing this fawning song about Chevy Chase:
(I'm sure if someone looks a little harder than me they'll locate a link to the real skit; this is just a still shot with the audio)

Got back in 2008 for the great skits during the presidential elections.

I admit, while I could recognize Gilda, Jane and Laraine, and, in 2008 Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Kristen Wiig, I am unable to recognize any of the other ladies. They just don't register.
