In Pennsylvania, just rolled my shirtsleeves down until January or
so, when I'd wear a light jacket 'til it warmed up.
.
But one of the SURE signs of aging for me is my susceptibility to
cold. Over the last 5-10 years, I've gone from just a sheet on my
bed (even in the RV -- where I still don't know to this day whether
the heater actually worked or not -- didn't use it) to a blanket to
two blankets and ('til I lost it somehow in a move) an ELECTRIC
blanket!!!
.
60 degress?!?!? The landlord has us on an honor system of 70 degrees
and that can get me shiverin' on a cold damp day.
.
Though I've kicked it up to 71 or 72 on days where I wasn't feeling
well -- and that's made ALL the difference in the world.

I think it is a function of aging. I don't like to be cold any more-there'll be time enough to be cold during my long dirt nap.

The youthful Hindu goddess of death and her wisecracking stuffed (Bengal) tiger.

The Pixar film of it would be a classic.

describes the pleasure a young boy derives from sticking his foot out from underneath the quilts & covers on a cold winter night, letting his leg chill for a few minutes, then pulling his leg back in under the covers to warm up. I used to do that when I was a kid; I loved the reminder of how nice and toasty-warm it was under the covers, when all was freezing-cold outside...
