I'm just going to remove the crappy foods from my diet and focus on eating healthier. Diets are too restrictive and as soon as you stop, you put the weight back on.
So, I'm going to make sure that I eat a healthy breakfast in the morning with a fresh fruit snack in the morning. Eat more vegetables at lunch and dinner, and eliminate sugar entirely.

(102,225 posts)Given I'd already had six months under my "belt", I was motivated not to break with my eating/exercise patterns and I'm proud to say that I didn't...
I still have quite a ways to go, but while I might add some weight training to my daily 4.5 mile walks, my moderately low carb/low glycemic index diet is working for me. Sugar and too much/wrong carbs are a problem for me and I've finally decided they just aren't worth it.
To those determined to start anew in a couple of days, best of luck... I'll be rooting for you (and for me)
