I want the baby to be a boy, there are too many girls in my family!

4. YAY! My bofriend is also 53

And became a great-uncle in July. I'm 41, so feel a little young to be a pseudo great-aunt, but, she is the most precious baby to ever have walked (well, not yet) the face of the earth. Yes, I am a little biased.

Having a baby in the family is SO MUCH FUN. I can't wait for you to meet the new family member!

Congrats to you and to your grand-niece. Enoy the heck out of the entire process. Not having had kids myself, I was so intrigued with the entire process and so excited for all the changes and all the things I could do to help the mom-to-be.
