Mr. Bear and I will be married for 30 years on Tuesday. Having him home from that damned hospital today is the best gift I could have gotten. Old love is often the best love. Here's the song in my heart today:

That is GREAT news -- and I bet they dotted their i's and crossed their t's TWICE
this time to make sure he was ready.

P-s-s-s-s-t!!! Tell him that all this swaggering bravado talk about Jack Daniel's
and arm-wrestling for pitchers of beer is just that. But keep that between you
n' me, a-ight? Let him know that their advice is pretty sound advice about
keeping outta that joint.

Oh, except for the tagteam bedbaths. That part is true... you don't want to
crush all his dreams.

(4,232 posts)We hit 20 this past summer. It can be rough at times, but there isn't another person in the world I'd rather face it with.
It's hard to imagine what 30 will be like, but I'm looking forward to it!
Here's to another 10 for you. Enjoy.

Yes, I've grown accustomed to her face...through all the changes.
And there's no face I'd rather see.
Happy for you.

(43,850 posts)He's one of the really, simply best people I know. I talk a good game but I can be selfish and a pain in the ass. He walks the walk, loves an old lady, animals and small children love him like crazy and he ought to be around for a long, long time.
