A hard cold rain is falling (snow coming) - PICS

I just dumped the rain guage five hours ago. It's now raining an inch an hour and it's 40*F. Winter storm flags are flying for tonight. But I'm warm and toasty with a mug of coffee (is it wine time yet?) and a bodacious fire.

I have had almost eight inches of rain since Sunday night.

2. Same here in GA.

Doubt we'll get snow in my area but it's cold and rainy after being 70 degrees last weekend. Nice fireplace. I thought the one in my parent's 1733 colonial in CT was big! It's actually 1 of 4 in the house but they only use 2.

5. I am in Georgia and it's raining,

but weather forecasters are predicting that with the temperature dropping to below freezing, the roads will freeze over. My sister lives in Ellijay and she is already getting sleet and snow. I live in Woodstock, just northwest of Atlanta. My concern is that my daughter is driving up from Miami tonight. I have warned her about the roads coming into Atlanta, especially the black ice.
