We have not had a rain like this in so long.
We are still is serious drought. We have had about half the moisture we have needed for about the last two years.
It's good to hear the rin on the roof.

(35,176 posts)We got 0.06 inches after the last "big" rain event a few days ago when we got 0.05 inches. I see little green grass beginning to poke up. I have not checked but last week the cottonwood by the barn had huge, swollen buds that I would imagine got a lot bigger when we hit 77 yesterday. Snow tonight, only if we are very very lucky. The green grass will die soon if we have no rain. I was walking "in" my pond yesterday or at least where it used to be. The bank is a good 6 feet longer than it was last year at this time. My dry hydrant is out of the water by a foot and looks really stupid hanging over the water.
Glad you are getting rain, it looks like you are in for quite a bit of it.
