I have about 80 cobalt blue beer bottles...

I don't want to just recycle them... is there anyplace I can donate them to artists to make glass projects? Melt 'em... whatever.

I'm in the desert in SoCal, and I won't ship 'em anywhere.

Any ideas on what to do with them that doesn't involve using some lube and....?

I'm in Ohio though. Not sure how close you are to LA where my aunts and cousins live, or I'd ask them if they'd pick up and ship some to me. I do bottle crafts and have been looking for some for a chandelier project.
