(2,531 posts)Kids would not be weird about homosexuality unless they learn to be that way from adults. Now, I'd gladly give you a fresh-baked biscuit but I don't got no oven. Never baked a biscuit anyway, but nevertheless here's my favorite biscuit song:
Never had no biscuit
Never had no sweater to wear
To keep me from the cold
Never no potato
Never had no leather on my feet
'Til I was five years old
When I was a baby my mama said
I never had no food to keep me full
And I never had no sweater made of wool
And that went and made my daddy

Have to pull a job
(Which means he had to rob)
But now though I have a biscuit
And I have a sweater to wear
To keep me from the cold
My mammy, she is crying
'Cause my daddy, he is lying
With no biscuit, and no sweater,
On the cold stone floor
While my mammy and me
We don't want for nothing more
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
