Fear is valuable, it keeps one from thinking too deeply, sells stuff and helps bend our will to authority.
The weather forecast stuff is real
...as in sometimes the forecasted 10" of snow can be cleaned up with a broom and sometimes you need the snowblower for partly cloudy.
