IT'S FRIDAY!!!My weekend has officially begun.
Just showered and I can't decide; Shorts or swim trunks?
(it's 87 degrees here in Fort Lauderdale- eat your heart out Wichita)
I think swim trunks. Take a quick dip in the pool and then marinate in the warm sun.
Maybe a nice rib-eye on the grill for dinner and then go out to the casino and try my luck.
Going to the South Beach Food and Wine Festival this weekend and maybe play some golf on Sunday.
Life is beautiful and I live it to the fullest.
So what are your plans this weekend?

(12,132 posts)your way is much better.
Still at work but my weather widget says it's 66 degrees out there in Orlando so I won't be swimming but I bet I can find something liquidy to do...
No idea what tomorrow's plans are but I know Sunday we have reservations at Maggiano's with some friends to use up some coupons that expire soon. Chicken Saltimbucca and some more will finish off the weekend nicely.

(3,066 posts)I mean I love the snow. Especially when it's very far away. I can visit it and then come back home.
I've lived in warmer climates most of my life, and this is why.
87 degrees! Right now!
on edit: I thought IN_THE_WIND would catch the marinate thing first

Did I ever tell you that I was renting an apartment in Lighthouse Point?
That was the year I didn't go for a hot air balloon ride. *sigh*
Oh and, are you covered in oil or sweat.
Callmecrazy
(3,066 posts)Great beach.
And just a little bit of sweat. I skipped the pool and sat outside with my laptop. In the shade mostly. But I am a little salty.
Just enough to enhance my natural scent.
Does that make scents to you?

I remember going north on US 1. Taking a right turn toward the Atlantic. Over the Inter-coastal Bridge to an awesome restaurant for many wonderful meals. Followed by a walk along the beach.
often at sunset.

(30,947 posts)I live in Georgia just northwest of Atlanta and I love our weather here. I lived in Miami most of my life until I moved up here. I got sick of the heat, humidity, bugs and crime there. right now, it is 40 degrees now and I am loving it. At least we have 4 seasons here, where there is nothing in South Florida but summer and spring.

(3,066 posts)I spent most of my life in Las Vegas and it got cold there around Thanksgiving and held on until mid January and I do miss it. No humidity, no skeeters, but plenty of heat and crime.
