I didn't know Gary Moore was still rocking, and I'm glad to see he still is.

(9,983 posts)Previous to the "Jailbreak" album, which included "Boys are Back". Garry was/is more of a blues guy, while Scott Gorham was more of a hard rock/metal guy. I saw them live, opening for Queen, on the Jailbreak/Night at the Opera tour. RIP Phil Lynott....

(1,999 posts)Because I frequently request the Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey in the Jar, a musician friend of mine from Dublin told me tales about hanging out with Phil Lynott and his mates when they were young'uns.
This is my friend, Pete. There's no video, but picture him after a few pints doing any song by Joe Cocker. Pretty fookin' funny.
