I didn't know roaches could fly until I moved to the Gulf Coast.

The worst sound in the world is hearing one of those monsters fly across your bedroom in the middle of the night.

There is no sleep in my house until it's found.

But I have lived in Georgia since 1989, and I have not yet seen any. You must be in south Georgia. But of course, I am heavily armed with Raid and zap any roach I see.

I never got used to those things during my sojourn in Mis'sippi.

They lived about halfway down a dirt road and the dog got in the habit of chasing cars and latching on to the tires. Tough dog, but not real bright.
