Like Mrs. V., Aunt Martha is a tough old mountain woman from east Tennessee. When her husband died a couple of years ago, her daughter took her home with her to live in Hawaii. Surrounded with her daughter and grandchildren, Aunt Martha has had a wonderful time of it for a good while.
She hasn't eaten or drunk anything for three days, and she is conscious for only moments at a time.
Please keep Mrs. V. in your thoughts. She's not ready to lose her Aunt Martha.

(17,302 posts)You and Mrs V have always been special to me and I'm so sorry for this heartache.
I don't think we're ever 'ready' to lose those we love.
As long as they are in our hearts though, they are never truly gone.
Please give K a huge hug from me and hold each other close.
love to both of you and peace to Aunt Martha, may those who love her find comfort in the joyfilled memories you all hold so dear.
