I discovered four of the nine people on my list have been tombstoned, and I missed the ceremonies.

For my first 4-5 years on this site, I had no one on ignore. Good info sometimes comes from bad sources, and I certainly wasn't goint to shut up someone just for disagreeing with me. Also, I was happy to "let him rave, that men may know him mad". But ... after a while, I found some people's bad habits just too wearying. Too much pseudoscience in the Science forum, too much arguing from logic with gaping holes in it, too many ad hominem attacks in E/E. I've seen several posts by my ignorees on DU3, and I'm inclined to clear out the whole list for now ... just to see what happens. People do change, and sometimes even for the better. And I can return them to the Ignore list with a single mouse click, so what the hey. We'll see how it goes.

Also a good time to check the battery in your smoke detector.

1. Is ignore functional here?

I'm thinking it's a bad time to review my ignore list.

I already accidentally wandered into a thread I wouldn't have even seen if my ignore list was working.
In one thread I realized why I have at least two people on ignore.
