Until this past Friday, I didn't fully understand.

It's a celebration.

So no tears this thread.

My father passed away Friday morning.

He lived to be in his nineties.

He was of good cheer to the end.

The legacy he left is remarkable.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, but it seems he had a full life.

My dad died when he was 60, I was just 17. He's been gone twice as long as I had him. You're very lucky.

November 1937 - April 1938 he was part of the CCC program, Company 956.

Ps he was a wheat farmer near Columbia Falls MT. He taught all us grand kids about soil conservation.
