We can't get New Holland here, so I have to take what I get when I go to Illinois. I have had Dragon's Milk, it was stellar. The Imperial Hatter was pretty good too.

Pepsi One is still out of stock.

We were packing away winter clothes all day.
Which ... meant that I had to try on my summer shorts. They still fit!

yesterday and had them with whipped cream--I have other ideas for the whipped cream.

Got my summer clothes out too, love the summer colors--though I do love the rich winter colors too. My hair is done with my summer colors. I'm all ready for the summer, bring it on.

Including the whipped cream...

Speaking of which, I had my first taste of Whipped Cream-flavored vodka yesterday. It was incredible. I could drink that all day. I would have asked for another shot at the bar, but mine was the last. Not surprised they ran out of it...

What is your hair's summer color? (Oops. We're talking about that again... )

so yummy!! Straight. Also very good with orange soda or strawberry juice, if you like a mixed drink. I like many of the flavored vodkas.

Yeah, the summer color..lol I just got it done again. I may post a pic...

Called it an alcoholic Dreamsicle. I'll definitely have to try that!

I drink fairly standard "guy" drinks; Scotch and soda, vodka and tonic, etc. So I don't mind dipping into the exotic flavors now and then.

I'll never forget when I discovered Stoly Blueberry. Great stuff. The thing I like best is that most flavored vodkas are clear, not colored. (Although I understand Russian distillers can make vodkas that are every color of the rainbow...) So I can order a nice flavor, and anybody watching me will think it's just standard vodka.

And that reminds me: if anyone asks you what vodka Russians prefer, I have it on good authority that they drink Russian Standard. A classmate of mine from PA School is Russian, and let me in on the secret.

I could drink those all night long. Of course I wouldn't be able to stand up...but that's another thread all together.

I love flavored vodka. I have Ciroc coconut right now, it's a nice alternative to coconut rum.

Haven't have Stoly Blueberry, but I will be looking for it.

Interesting little tidbit on the Russian preference.

BTW, if you're going to drink until you can't stand up, vodka is the one to drink. It has the lowest hangover index of any of the hard liquors. The rule of thumb is, the darker the liquid, the higher the hangover index. One of the many reasons I don't drink Jaegermeister!

I shared an apartment once with a guy who drank Jaeger like it was going out of style. His hangovers were brutal.

So, stick with vodka...

Apfelkorn. It's a brand. You can get it on the east coast in larger cities, so I know it's here.

And I'm watching The Paperboy. Weird movie. Though I have seem Matthew McConnaughey's ass more than once.

One thing you can count on, if he's in the movie, he will show his ass at some point. I think it's a rule in Hollywood or something. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
