What's up with Photobucket?

Never used it much (67 total pics), not at all in the past couple of years. So I needed uploading now and the site has "a new look," and the Upload Page, both with the Browse from computer and the drag-and-drop modes, does nothing except do its Wait-icon for over five minutes. Their "Help" and "Feedback" pages are useless.

Any place else to upload? Thanks, as forever usual.

1. I think that there's a "classic look" option, somewhere, it's frustrating. Alternatives:

Here are two alternatives:

Picasa Web by Google: http://picasaweb.google.com/ I use this.

You could also create a Facebook identity just for images, which is cool because then you can load pics with your phone-camera.

3. I think you need to have a free gmail or Google account.

Aside from that, I think it's pretty intuitive.

And you get albums, etc., like photobucket, but everything loads quickly.

What you give up are the photo-modifying options like cropping and resizing, but those aren't so important to most people.

Good luck.

It didn't have the URL image feature from Photobucket, so I got it from Properties? Let's see:

ON EDIT: Hmmm, small. Plus, I'll have to figure out how to get some of my Photobucket pics into this site. Or I guess I can use the Photobucket URLs for those old ones and use this site for new.

By the bye, if explanation of the pic is needed: Months ago I posted in Lounge I wanted a 12oz commuter mug, not the HUGH!1 24/52/72oz that seem to be the rule. Well, I found one, but a BOTTLE without a handle. BubbaBrand. So there was this aluminum camping type cup, and I took the handle and attached it to the bottle using 3M double-sided adhesive. I don't know whether the adhesive will last long, but it's a start.

ANOTHER EDIT: Experimenting with the size. 8.5 x 11. Hmmm, not that much bigger...

Good work. I like 3M products, but agree, the handle will get too much use for the adhesive to last long. I would sand the parts and if you don't want to solder them, try Krazy Glue and just make sure to allow it to cure long enough. Again, very nice mug

9. Thanks for the ideas!1 I'm going to see how long the 3M lasts (very low use of the mug)

And I *would* like a permanent alternative, don't mind soldering if I can figure out how to do it. Thanks.

4. I am one of many who fled Photobucket for the reason you state.

I went to Imageshack.com.
a week later THEY went to a new format which is frustrating to use.
