(5,604 posts)Goo (Guenther) was the best dog I ever had and universally loved by all family, children, other animals, neighbours, employees and strangers alike. He was mostly Rottie with a bit of shepherd. Both gentle and courages.

(14,120 posts)I lost my two babies, two years ago, May 22, to the Joplin Tornado.
I hope your little one gets well soon!

(5,604 posts)'bout the tornado. I can't even imagine.
My not-so little one is likely stuck like that for life, despite $150 a month for her expensive diet and prescriptions (thats killing me since I'm now unemployed ,all on a $465/month budget for now.)

(13,661 posts)This is a new program, and it's for people who are low income / on food stamps but want to be able to feed their pets.
It might take a while for you to hear anything b/c I think they're overwhelmed with applications -- but check it out. I know your baby has a special diet, but this could be an option for you:

I was coerced to go to the shelter and see, but I wanted all of them.
Maybe someday?
