Facebook question

Any setting to change "online status" to hidden?

I couldn't find one.

It has been awhile since I did this, but in the chat box at the bottom right there was an options menu and you could select either turn off chat or go offline.

to having it off for all or for particular ones. You might have to click on the chat thingie, but at the top right of the screen that shows wh oall is online is the gear.
