'Sammon' or 'Sal-mon'?

I've always said 'sammon'.
I have friends who say 'sal-mon'.
I think I'm right.

Half of the consonants in the English language are silent. Middle ts all become ds.

It was a long time ago. Of course the 1984 Democratic Presidential candidate, Walter Mondale, was from Minnesota, so that was a big part of why he won this state. It was the only state in won.

The (D) party in MN is officially the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) party. The repukes used to be the "Independent Republicans" (IR), but that went away years ago.

It was her first time eating salmon, she said she loved it. Her odd pronunciation 'sal-mon ' only added to her innocent charm for me. I am glad she went on to do well in the music industry and is doing well in life too.

that "L" is just there for looks.

It's sammon. When I first said sal-mon in front of people outside my family, I got laughed at.
