Gas pump prank turns couple into Internet sensation

http://now.msn.com/leno-gas-station-prank-turns-will-sims-and-monifa-sims-into-sensation

We’ve all gotten used to those ubiquitous pump-topping TV screens that scream inane chatter at us while we wait for our hilariously overpriced gas to top up. But what if one of them started talking directly at you? Such is the nature of this "Tonight Show" prank, in which a talking head on a gas pump screen charmingly bantered with Will Sims. Sims took the prank in-stride (we would have screamed "Big Brother is watching!" and fled the scene) and then, with the help of his wife, Monifa, the couple dipped into some impromptu karaoke with more charisma and musical talent than an episode of "American Idol." Well played, guys! People — the best thing about the world.

Both of them not only have wonderful voices, but have a great stage presence. Good sports, too.

3 or 4 camera angles and it just sounded staged and acted out...
But who cares I guess if you want to believe.

people don't naturally project their voice like that...but not that I care, it is just an observation on my part.

Especially if they do a lot of karaoke. And give me the right Mics, I can get you to sound like that in those conditions.
And if you watched the Tonight show you would have heard them sing in the studio with the Tonight Show band. They were even better in studio conditions, however as you listen you can tell they are not professionally trained.

I think that the right people were in the right pace at the right time.
