My son is in Montreal today, but will be back stateside tomorrow. He took me out for lunch last Sunday before heading off the next day to New York and up into Canada.

My Mom has been gone for a few years. I miss her always. She was the "bomb". Rest in eternal peace Miss Winnie.

Today is my son's birthday. He is working a job in Detroit. My daughter lives in South Florida, so neither of them will be with me tomorrow. But I know that at least they will call me.

smells like a bbq joint thanks to my dear husband smoking a pork butt all night (finished in the oven!) MMMmmmmmmmmmmmm...many want candy and flowers, I want BBQ!
