Clear Channel ruined FM Radio. It would great to see an independent station do well.

It was so much fun to listen to FM back in the 70's, when DJ's and producers were allowed to be creative and innovative...

I miss it.

We the people own the airwaves. Selling off chunks of the radio spectrum to large corporations was a bad idea.

My mom worked at a local commercial radio station. They had local advertising, 24/7 disc jockeys, a news person who was always on call when something big like a fire, airplane crash, or earthquake happened, and local personalities.

It was very WKRP but it really did represent the community.

Big corporations like Clear Channel, syndicated content like Rush Limbaugh, national advertising, and godawful religious broadcasters killed it.

Even NPR got bought.

We could fix it with modern technology and some shuffling around of the radio spectrum, but we won't. The giant corporations demand control.
