(70,671 posts)There's another thread about penguins burying their dead...
I saw this: On a long road through pastureland, there was this cattle trailer next to a long fence, and it started pulling away slowly. A cow by herself was right next to the fence and trailer and started galloping alongside the trailer until she got to the fence corner where she couldn't go farther. Then she turned back slowly and made her way back to the center of the pasture. Another cow rushed up to her and they had some kind of muzzle to muzzle talk. It was the first cow's calf being trucked away.

(4,465 posts)When ever I drive to the lake or the mountains in N.Ga. I always take the side roads once I'm up there so I can see the pastures full of cows and horses. Big sky, endless rolling green, old barns with tin roofs...love it.

It's been an extremely long winter, as those cows can attest.
