are both worth seeing.

But as someone who grew up in Paterson and neighboring Wayne, I should point out that Paterson is a very high poverty, high crime area. Don't go alone, and be very, very careful. My brother lives in Paterson, but he's not in a nice neighborhood. I'm not sure there are any nice neighborhoods there.

for info on Great Falls: http://www.nps.gov/pagr/index.htm

Garrett Mountain: http://cafenewjersey.com/garrett-mountain/passaiccounty.htm

Unless you're traveling south, in which case stop before you hit the Lincoln tunnel or GW bridge.

When I have company, they always want to go to
http://www.minado.com/stores/littleferry.htm - there are so many choices, that everyone loves something here, it is not your usual buffet, but an higher class of buffet - don't forget to try the eggplant salad, is it Delicious!!!!

Weehawken - great views of Manhattan, the GWbridge and the verizano at the same time and lots of fun boat traffic. Great for tourist picture taking.
