(53,339 posts)I stayed there a couple of times many years ago (when room rates were in the 30's).
My hotel on the beach was great--a place called The Beachcomber. I met snowbirds from Canada who'd been coming there annually for 20 years and more.
A travel site shows their rates today starting at $107.
But you'll have to bring your own swing.

Too bad we weren't there at the same time. That would have been very cool.

(53,339 posts)I was there in the early '80s. The rooms were a tad old and a bit dingy, but the staff was fantastic and I got a great haircut from the Italian immigrant presiding over their in-house barbershop.
The only thing that I'd be afraid of is that if you brought YOUR swing, I know it would be XXX-rated.

... I've never tried an X-rated swing not even once.
A lot of Florida (and seashore towns all the way up the east coast) have that dingy charm.
It's okay unless my shoes stick to the carpet.
