It sounds better coming from him, with his Warwickshire accent.

But he's over at The Globe, waiting for it to stop raining. I can hear him now:

"Bloody rain! A pisser, this!"

It's too late to move the show over to Blackfriars, which is indoors. And fewer seats.

There have been modern-dress productions of 'Hamlet' in which Polonius behind the arras is replaced with a wire-tap scenario. Very apropos.
