Walking tall!

Just started to notice I'm walking taller than before.

Lived in a trailer for almost 6 years, constantly ducking to get through the doors, or looking out the windows.

Now, thanks to fortune, I live in a real home - with hundreds of acres around me.

Some shrink when they get older (I'm 62)

But I'm getting taller!

Thanks to the spirits that made this happen.

and of course the pure beauty and tranquility of the place.

Just cut a few chives growing naturally off the end of my porch to add to my lunch.

No time for gardens or greenhouses this year, but am preparing a large clearing nearby for next year. I'll be a'growin stuff! What I can't eat or store, will be going to the local Food Bank that helped me for most of the last decade. Ya rarely get fresh veggies at a Food Bank.

Takes time to sort things out in your head when you have a major life change - be it for better or worse.

I'm very fortunate that my "life change" at this time of my life was for the better.

Many are not so lucky.

Too many.

Gonna get me a dawg once I'm all settled in, probably late fall.

Had a dog named "Lady" from the time I was born until I was 15.

Not decided on a name for my dog - looking for a 2-3 year old female German Shepherd -

We'll be having puppies up here!

9. Some sort of Glitch when we did the change from DU2 to DU3.

It was just easier to start a new account.
