We just added 1,000 gallons of water to a new homemade/dug Koi Pond. Now Credence is enjoying the sunlight for the first time.

6. LOL! That actually made me laugh and smile. I think I needed that.

Koi pond is in my plans for the future. I'm rebuilding my garden from scratch after my last home was stolen from me. It's been a chore, but I'm finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

7. Inadvertently we share some of the same woes.

We were ponzied. After Bernie stole our money, we moved out and listed our home for a short sale. The bank sent in a company to drain the pipes ... those contractors employed by my bank stole about a thousand dollars worth of our possession that were still in the house. I filed a police report but nothing was done. We still own the house. My ex-real estate person promised us that everything would be safe until the home was sold ... she lied.

DU is one of the few bright spots in my life.

8. I had a beautiful, two-story home...4 br, 3 ba, on the lake. Stolen.

They ruined my credit. I had never made one late payment in 4 1/2 years. They told me they couldn't refi until I got 6 mos behind. I told the bank I had no intention of ever making a late payment. (This was after over a year of trying before I found this out). Once I figured out the game, I just walked away and filed bankruptcy. I now live in a tiny 2 br cottage on 1/15th of an acre maybe? Very small city lot. Very different neighborhood. I don't trust them still, as a hedge fund owns this one, which I am buying on "contract". Hope they come through for me.

9. Very sad.

I had a large brick ranch, with two in ground pools. I closed the one inside the house, covered it with a wood floor. Installed a 8 person Jacuzzi and loved watching the snowstorms raging outside sliding glass doors.

Now I have a manufactured home in a senior citizen development ... with rules, rules, rules out the yingyang. I'm trying to convince myself to be happy with what I have but I'm not always successful. I miss walking outside in privacy. It could be worse. Let's hope this is the bottom of our bad luck.

10. Well, looks like I am on my way out of here now. They hid another post. One jury member

thinks my views amount to an "infestation". Really? Me? A staunch democrat down to the bone? Guess I'm headed off this board, and either to start my own or else join the Greens or some actual progressive party. While I am still free to do so. Carry on, my short-lived friend.
