I remember them as being VERY fruity-sweet (the Faygo Kid was obviously marketing to kids). MiddleFingerMom Jun 2013 #4
Yeah, that is the issue. Sweet but the flavor is weaker than comparable ones. Denninmi Jun 2013 #5

Most stores only carry the dozen roughly core flavored. Probably heresy to say this but honestly it is not as good as the comparable flavor of a national brand. Their cola drinks are particularly bad. It's a "value" brand sold at discount prices, so they probably cut corners. The only one I like, but haven't had for years, is Rock'N'Rye, a kind of cherry-berry cola cream soda blend thing- reminds me of Pepsi's Josta soda from the 1990's which I loved then they discontinued.

Pop is not on my diet these days anyway.

And I bet the exotic flavors are sold almost exclusively through their website.

Rock and Rye soda was GREAT!!! I'm not sure I was drinking Faygo's version, though.

Crush makes better grape, orange, and strawberry. A&W is a better root beer, etc. Coke and Pepsi are dramatically better, Faygo Cola has a weird flavor I recall as "dusty" or "old". Their diet formulas still use saccharin so are noticeably bitter compared to brands using sucralose.

To be fair, I haven't tasted any flavor of Faygo in a few years. Maybe it improved.

I'm waiting to be tarred and feathered by the Detroit pop purists for my heresy.
