Union baters

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by In_The_Wind (a host of the The DU Lounge forum).

This am I read in the local paper an editorial on how to avoid union dues.

If you don't want to pay union dues don't expect the union to back you when the owner decides to unfairly deal with you.

And don't expect union wages, your right to work means right to work for less (you didn't back the union, why should you get the benefit?

No wonder Texas school system doesn't want critical thinking taught in the schools, critical thinking is dangerous to Ayn Rand conservative view of the common man.

No, I am not a union member but I can see the writing on the wall

In EVERY case, that is, those I knew who did so, it was right wingers who didn't like our union supporting democratic party candidates: They were/are fundamentalist christians or/and gun nuts.

As much as I respect your position here, it's better placed in General Discussion.
