I wuv this beer. I'm sorry the owners are repukes. I didn't even know.
But I assume there have to be at least few liberal workers working for Coors.

Seriously, I only like big, dark beers - mostly stouts and porters, many of them 8-10% alcohol by volume. If I can read a beer list through a beer, it is too light for me!

My brewers of choice are Bells, Founders, and Rogue at the moment

between Rainier beer and Coors beer drinkers.

I found both beers to be pretty bad, but liked Canadian Molson.

Bear in mind I might drink one beer a year, usually in August, so what do i know...

And largely a matter of opinion. I've tasted very few beers that I wouldn't drink again including the big guys here in the States. I'm not above grabbing a 40 of Bud on the way home from work if I just want something to guzzle down quickly and take the edge off.

Right now I'm drinking Yuengling. It's not bad, but I wish the alcohol content was a bit higher. Good flavor, though. I think it's considered a craft brew and they are located in Pennsylvania. My current favorite is Newcastle Brown Ale from England. Yep, I like the brown beers.

I can say it tastes like shit ...

I wouldn't even bother drinknng beer if the only options were Bud and Coors ... like they were when I didn't drink beer for nearly 20 years when the only real options were Bud or Coors ...

It took living in a craft beer mecca like Portland Oregon to change my thinking about beer ... I will sample craft beers, where I actually drink very little, but all to taste the complex flavors present in craft brews ....

Bud and Coors have this horrendous aftertaste that I have hated for 40 fucking years ....

Get rid of craft breweries and my beer consumption drops to zero ...(a single PBR for social purposes being the exception , I could never drink more than one)

I didn't want to use real beer in the slug traps so I bought some Coors (late at night and not at my local store, so I wouldn't be recognised).

The slugs refuse to be drawn.

I like a lot of different beers. From Pilsner Urquel, Canadian lagers, and Guinness Stout. I really don't understand the fad of Brew pub and micro brewed IPA. I think they're way over hopped, just to differentiate them from the big breweries. That said, Trader Joe's sells a Boatswain Double IPA. It's not great tasting but it's 8.4% alcohol. When the folks at T'Js ask me how I like it I just tell them, "It does the job!"

Bud's problem comes from being packaged. Bottled and canned Bud is pasteurized, then lives in a truck for a few days, then goes to the store and sits in the middle of the aisle until someone buys it and takes it home. As light as Bud is, it can't take that sort of handling and it goes to shit. Kegged beer is not pasteurized and has to be refrigerated its entire life.

Go to a bar and order a glass of draft Bud and a can of Bud with a glass. You will swear they are two different brands of beer.

I have no idea what the owners' politics are.

I don't drink much beer anymore, but when I discovered Yuengling, all other common brand beers were lost to me. Well there's still Sam Adams, but you can forget Bud or Coors.

Although, not sure you can get it everywhere.

The one he liked here was Sam Adams. He didn't like the imported Foster's--said it was different from the Foster's at home.

Not because Coors is good. It isn't. But rather because its cheap, and thats exactly what we need more of now. In dispiriting times, if congress won't lift a finger to raise people up, then the least they can do is lift a pint and pass the Affordable Beer Act of 2013.

As long as it isn't Coors Light. No light beer is worth drinking. I tend to go for Yuengling if I'm drinking cheap beer, though. Coors is probably my 2nd or 3rd choice.
