She was very young when she was my teacher, just two years out of college. I had a huge boyhood crush on her, and was jealous of her husband.
She's still very attractive...
I sent her message of hello, but I called her "Mrs", just like in third grade. Calling her by her first name just seemed wrong...

I've been out of school so long, most of my teachers are dead.

(13,081 posts)For one of two women: Angelina Jolie, and my seventh grade Spanish teacher whom I haven't seen in 25 years. It's okay, she knows this.
She's already informed me that, should the opportunity arise, she will dump me for Sayid from Lost or Darby O'Gill-era Sean Connery.

I wouldn't leave my wife for my 3rd Grade teacher, because 'eew'. But I might think about it...

(66,310 posts)15 or so years after third grade ended, I was stationed on the same Army post where I grew up. My third grade teacher was still there, now the guidance counselor at my old elementary school. I visited her at the school, and we had our picture taken together.
I'll scan it in and post it when I get a chance.
