I'm sitting here staring down a liter bottle of Ice Mountain. And I can't bring myself to drink it.

Blech.

I'm supposed to drink a ton of water. I'm at the point of rebellion.

Nothing really helps -- not lemon or lime juice, or pouring it over ice, or even using seltzer water instead of plain water.

It's still all horrible. Not that I don't like a nice drink of water when I'm thirsty.

But, this is forced drinking to help with medical issues. Helps flush out the sodium, etc.

And, I hate it!

Just had to get that out of my system. I just steeled myself enough to open it.

Thanks for listening.

Maybe try it by the glass/cup, instead of staring down a liter bottle?

I drink water 24/7, its my drink of choice, but I do it slowly, all day. Don't know how much each day.

I understand how forced drinking/eating feels. I had to eat 20g fat three times a day with a dose of meds when I was taking treatment for hepatitis c. I got sick of peanuts, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, peanut butter, ice cream . . . .

I wish you more ease with this. I hope you don't barf.

I have trouble making myself drink water, but a tablespoon of cherry juice in a tall glass of water goes down easy for me.

It helps kill the taste and stimulates your ability to drink more water. And then you can take a nappy-poo!

Couldn't hurt, right?

I really like the link about the flavored waters. The spa where I go for massage therapy serves guests cucumber water, and it's actually really good. So, I'm going to experiment with some of these tonight. I may have to improvise a muddler, though.
