My favorite summer fruit and they're sooo sweet and juicy and crunchy.
Except for the jawbreaker inside.
I bought three pounds yesterday and half of them are gone.
You can't eat too many cherries, can you?

(17,101 posts)Local organic cherries were a bargain. I bought about 8 lbs in total. Going to freeze some - if there are any left over from my binges!

(6,154 posts)And I'm a fruit lover who loves most types of fruit! I don't know why cherries just have never been my thing. It could be I had too much artificial cherry flavoured stuff as a kid. Artificial cherry flavour is one of the worst, most fake flavours IMHO.

... and remember them as luscious treats. I buy a coupla pounds, get home and
eat about 10 of them before I realize that I really don't like them much at all (I
throw them out for the birds and the ground squirrels.
.
And I NEVER could understand why people would pay so much for Rainiers.
