His writings are peppered with scriptural references.

There is some speculation as to whether he was a secret Catholic, and there's some evidence to suggest his father may have been, and that that adherence to the Church of Rome is what led to John Shakespeare's social eclipse.

Whether Will was a sincere believer, regardless of his creed, no one can say for sure...

I asked him about that once. His response: he bought me a brace of pints, looked over both shoulders in turn, then said "Not here, mate. Not now. Not anywhere. And not ever, yes?"

It was such an uncharacteristically testy reply that I've never brought it up since...

The face of an angel and the amazing strength of a woman that would protect her cubs. Her compassion for a very sick young man, she saved them all. Because of her, no one died. She certainly exceeded her miracles.
