1. Your subject line made me think of something else.

When I first met my writing partner in college, he and his roommate were trying to construct a second-story bong out of 5-gal water-cooler bottle, two different-sized tin oil-funnels, several pieces of hollow glass tubing and 14 feet of PVC pipe.

There were two guys that definitely didn't need a bigger bowl...it's fortunate that they failed, they'd have been the first two people in history to die from smoking too much pot--CO poisoning, not any sort of THC toxicity. I wonder to this day if they're both brain damaged.

2. We made a glass bong from lab equipment.

It was about 3 feet tall with a plastic tube 12 foot long. Easier to pass at a large party. That was in the early 70s. No brain damage here that I'm aware of. [img][/img]
Ours worked, everyone lived to talk about it.

4. So did we

we used a 500ml Erlenmeyer flask, a two hole rubber stopper and we bent some glass tubing.

My buddy and I used that for more than a year.
