The "brain eater" or, rarely, "the airplane," but only for a few strokes or scratches; one too many, and my hand becomes handburger.

I have one that will let me pet him everywhere without complaint, and generally with purrs. The other cat, well, she growls if you even speak to her while she is bathing. Petting is pretty much one move and yank back what is left of your hand. She is a fine mouser, though.
