So I'm watching the new show Blacklist...
With Judd Nelson. And I really like it so far. Well acted and well written, IMHO.

2. It wasn't bad
Spader did a decent job, the twist at the end of the show, didn't see it coming.

3. That's not Judd Nelson--it is James Spader and he is excellent.

4. I was shocked at how good this show was...
I expected Spader to be good, and he was excellent. The writing, direction, and acting was also very good, as was the special effects.
I also like the lead actress (sorry, don't know her name). Instead of the stereotypical overly-aggressive woman, who always snarks at her male partner, this character is smart, conflicted, tough, and manages to convey her strengths without being sarcastic and mean. I like her. I hope this show can maintain this level; it is certainly a very intriguing premise. |

5. It was looking very cool but I had to bail about 1/2 way thru, after the kitchen table scene.
It's too bad. I like Spader a lot but I just can't watch that kind of shit. Too wimpy, I guess.

6. It was So good.
I'm not into TV shows like that really, but I was watching 'The Voice' and it went right into The Blacklist. I was immediately drawn in.
At first with Spader's character I was like oh, Silence of the Lambs angle, meh, but it still kept my interest. I was working out while watching it and was amazed that the hour had gone by so fast. |

7. I recorded it - I am a Spader fanatic but ...
... I was underwhelmed by the seeming rip off of the "Silence of the Lambs" premise. I hope that doesn't become too obvious.

9. Spader Fanatic
too, but I turned this off. It just seemed utterly ridiculous to me. Wall to wall violence, baddies pulling off an impossibly complex, coincident-dependent caper... I mean, jumping off bridges into boats? Meh.... This testosterone-fueled nonsense wore out about...20 years ago for me.
