The only time I've wanted Taco Hell was when I was drunk or stoned

I've even seen my hispanic employees with the bean and cheese burrito from TB... very occasionally, but after many years together I can say I've seen it with my own eyes.

and kind of poor. Every once and a while we got the treat of going to a cheap movie and Taco Bell afterwards. To this day I love their bean burritos, though I take them home and put some cheddar in them (since TB doesn't believe in putting cheese in things anymore)

On edit: what we would today call the dollar movies when I lived in Canton, OH, were shown in the Palace. Exquisite wood work that pictures can not really do justice to, and the ceiling had a projection system- if you watched you would see stars and clouds floating along. A really neat place:

... The Capitol and The Michigan. One screen each, huge red velvet draperies, gold
cherubs everywhere, pipe organs, balconies -- one screen and about 650 seats each.
.
Sadly, The Capitol was razed in the 80's (downtown had died), but a group of local
activists (including MiddleFingerMomTim) managed to save and restore The Michigan.
.
It is still in operation today.

Our Catholic freshman class got to go see Zefferelli's "Romeo and Juliet" there. In
the movie, there is a VERY brief flash of Juliet's breasts. Bobby, big mean nasty
hardcore bully Bobby, who scared adults and children alike, YELLED out loudly and
immediately, "TITTIES!!!!!" (to our great delight). Little, tiny 5-foot-nothin' Sister
Anna , who seemed to be the only person unafraid of Bobby, said quietly and
calmly, "That will be enough, Bobby." And it was.
