How young of a child would that book be OK for?

Some pretty intense books like, black like me, real boys, Buddha in jeans, four agreements, simper fi. Not to mention whatever biography or encyclopedia he could get hands on

My youngest does not ever want sad or violent and he is 16

Depends on the child
