Although I've never had a cat who slept on my head in the morning.

I had one who slept on my hip, waist or butt depending on what direction I was turned and another who slept on my chest, but his obsession was when we were going to bed. He would lick my facial hair for about 15-20 seconds and then start trying to pull it out.
