2. Here's something out of left field... (literally)

I've got a new mare who won't stay dressed. Keeps ripping off blankets, the boots she wears to keep her shoes on etc.

I'm online seeing if anyone has any solutions as this is a new one for me after 30 years in the biz. Gonna be a hard frost here in IL tonight... she'll probably destroy another blanket again tonight.

Alas.

You probably don't have any suggestions about that do you?

8. I'm thinking of using some kind of pepper spray concoction...

I just read about it on a dog website.

Maybe something that will taste awful to her will work? Dunno but that's about the best I can come up. They don't have a "cone of shame" for horses like dogs and cats wear after surgical procedures....

Here, we have had a warm and nice October to date. All changing today, a front is coming through right now, and behind it below nip oral temps, maybe an early first snowfall tomorrow night.

Probably premature to wax my skis, though.

9. I haven't been able to post WSTFTD lately.

I've been taking so many continuing education courses lately, most of them on Saturdays.

The good news is, I've just about fulfilled my requirements for the year, so I can dial the weekends back a bit. I do have a provider meeting this coming Saturday, but after that, my weekends will be free. There has been so much potential material for Will to use recently. He and I will ty to cook up something good...
