Sharon was a very gifted girl. Her parents noticed that even at a very young age, she looked at..

...people in a different way. I mean, you never knew how she would react to a new face. When she started to speak, her parents realized that Sharon's eyes could see things that (maybe?) other children couldn't. They took her to their family doctor who, after some tests, referred them to the local university.
The tests showed that Sharon could see far into the infrared, plus far into the ultraviolet. By having extended range of sight, she actually DID see things differently.
School was not kind to Sharon. Her problems started almost immediately. Oh...she got excellent grades and all that but was withdrawn and not very social with the other children. Naturally, her parents were worried after talking to the teacher so they decided to take Sharon to a child psychiatrist.
Dr. Mike Brannon welcomed the family into his office, said the usual chit-chat stuff (he had read about her amazing senses), and then said "At first I'd like to speak to Sharon alone, if that's OK with you."
After the parents left, he noticed (as he did when they first came into the office) that Sharon kept staring down at the floor.
"Sharon, would you mind looking at me and we can have a little talk?" Sharon slowly raise her face, looked at Dr. Brannon and smiled.
"That's better and I'm glad your spirit picked up, you look happy now."
"Well...you look like me, Sharon beamed."
"Ah...what do you mean, like me?"
Sharon stammered "Ah...I..I ...feel funny when I look at some other people...the ones who have their body parts in not quite the same place and have the extra two eyes...."

Dr. Mike Brannon wondered if this would be the day he would look back on and think "I wish I had never found out."

I've never been the same since I learned about quantum Physics.

Thinking you're probably just a 2 dimensional thing on a quantum background stage plays hell with your reality.
